Racing Game DIY | How to Make Race Car Game with Cardboard for Kids |
|
Let’s build a game with cardboard for children to steer their car up the curving road by pulling strings!
⭕ MATERIALS: - Cardboard - Paper straw (plastic or paper) - Paper - String - Marker - Scissors or box cutter - Hot glue gun ⭕ INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Draw a curving road through the middle of your piece of cardboard- don’t forget the lane dividers! (2) Draw a box around the road, about 3 cm away from the edge. Mark the empty areas you want to cut out and remove them. (3) Cut off two small pieces of your straw. Glue them to the top corners of the cardboard. (4) Taking a small rectangle of cardboard, we can turn it into a car by cutting it to shape and adding craft paper. Place a hole the size of a coin in the centre. (5) Take two more pieces of cardboard, roughly the size of your first large piece, and glue their edges together to make an ‘L’ shape. Put the road on an angle and glue it to make a triangle. (6) Glue the centre of a long string to the top back of the car. Thread one end of the string through one straw piece. (7) Cut a small circle from a piece of cardboard that fits inside the car. (8) Place it in the hole, and try the keep in on the road as you pull the car up! #TheDadLab #repurpose #kidsactivities #ideasforcardboard #cardboardcraft #recycleandplay #cardboardbox #cardboard #preschoolplay #diycrafts #diytoys #diycardboardplay #cardboardart ===================================================== ➜ TheDadLab on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedadlab/ ➜ TheDadLab on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedadlab/ ➜ TheDadLab on Twitter: https://twitter.com/thedadlab ➜ TheDadLab on Pinterest: https://pinterest.com/thedadlab/ ➜ Website: https://thedadlab.com/ ===================================================== Please subscribe to see more upcoming videos http://bit.ly/ThedadlabOnYoutube |
