Turning strangers into neighbors: Reverend David Fraccaro at TEDxGreensboro

David Fraccaro is the Executive Director of FaithAction International House - a non-profit organization that serves new immigrants while connecting Greensboro's diverse community across lines of culture and faith.  He is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, and has been a human rights volunteer in Bolivia, Kenya, East Timor, and at the United Nations. He has worked as a professional actor and singer performing in theaters across the country in shows like West Side Story, Damn Yankees, Show Boat, and as Elvis.  His experiences living in New York and being close to the site during the 911 attack let him to reevaluate his life purpose. His presentation speaks to his journey and outlines steps to capitalize upon this diversity, and create a vision of Greensboro and other cities as model interfaith, multicultural and immigrant friendly cities.
