Everything we should change for the Climate Change | Thinkers Forum |
|
Climate change is a common threat for humanity. The Thinkers Forum discussed some of the most vital topics regarding the issue. To resolved the environmental crisis requires joint efforts by different sectors. China, in recent years, has made significant progress on environmental governance. An Eurasian approach has been proposed with respect to the current western approach to climate crisis. Private and state capitals, as well as collaborations among governments, all play different but equally important roles in dealing with environmental issues. And finally, how should the world protect human rights along with the process of protecting the environment?
The Thinkers Forum was held on June 7, 2022, featuring panelists Eric Li, Vice President of China Forum; Christopher Kutarna, Fellow of Oxford Martin School and Oxford Saïd Business School; Arthur Tamminen, Former Secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency; and Vijay Prashad, Director of Tricontinental. |
