Interview with Le Meraviglie writer and director Alice Rohrwacher.

La Meraviglie is a film about a German-Italian family, consisting of beekeeper Wolfgang, his wife Angelica and their four daughters. They live very remote on the Italian countryside and earn some money with the honey. It's a personal film about the role of the landscape, agriculture and traditions. Personal but not autobiographical, according to writer and director Alice Rohrwacher.

Winner of the Grand Prix (let's say: the second best film) at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.
