video thumbnail
In the next few minutes, I am going to show you a simple, drug-free way to reduce the pain of period cramps.
Period cramping and pain can be mild or so severe that it is referred to as a curse.
There is no cure, and for most women it comes once a month during for much of their life.
Medical therapy commonly consists of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or the oral contraceptive pill, both of which work by reducing uterine contractions.
However, these treatments are accompanied by a number of side effects, making an effective non-pharmacological method treating period cramps a desirable alternative.
A scientific review of sixty high-quality scientific studies involving over 8,000 women concluded that acupuncture was more effective than medications for treating period cramps and pain.
This study also identified the three top acupuncture points used to relieve period pain and cramping.
In this video, I will show you how to locate and activate these three acupuncture points.
