Rethinking how technology and its applications may be used to maximize our collective utilities Khahlil Louisy is an applied microeconomist in the areas of economic development, public economics, and technology. His work centers on the application of public purpose technologies and their implications for economic development, health outcomes, and human rights. He is the former Head of Global Implementation at PathCheck Foundation - a non-profit organization founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to develop new technologies in response to health crises. He currently serves as the founding President of the Institute for Technology and Global Health and co-heads the "AI and Technology for Public Health" group within the joint World Health Organization (WHO) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health.
