Some Mortal Kombat characters have gone through a lot of pain and suffering in the past. Scorpion for instance, who is the franchise's main character has lost his entire family and clan due to the animosity he had with a rival clan named the Lin Kuei. These characters tend to share their grief in their intro dialogues, which I assembled in this video.
