When people leave you. When they walk away from you. When they have the courage to go away from you, let them go. You can cry all you want, yes, because it is painful. You’re allowed to mourn them. You’re allowed to miss them for a while, show some emotion.... They meant something to you, and you can’t live in denial. They left you. But listen, after grieving, after expressing your pain, don’t remain there. Let them go, get up, dust yourself up, and move on. It’s not the end of the world. It’s not the end of you.
You need to understand that your life, your joy, your fulfilment, your completeness, is not in the hands of any one person. It’s both in God’s hands and in your hands, my friend.
