Police Training: Domestics and Arguments |
|
For Police Officers, Sheriff's Deputies, Security Guards, and other public safety professionals refereeing arguments, especially domestics, is an integral job function. Today we are going to look at one of the common pitfalls of dealing with these calls and discuss how to use psychology instead of muscle to resolve disputes that have not yet turned violent. Again we will showcase how talking to people is 99% of a cop’s job.
This is a key component of any GOOD Police field training program and should be taught at police academies. Sadly, I’ve met far too many folks on the job who seem to have been taught (or more likely learned on their own) some really stupid techniques. *LIKE WHAT YOU ARE WATCHING?* Join the Shift! and get advanced screenings and a behinds the scenes look at the raw footage we use to make these videos: https://www.patreon.com/FreeFieldTraining Check out the deputy_tatum channel as well! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9t598fjvbnnQJ_zVeGvB7w |
