This workshop was conducted by Amb: Fawad Ali Langah on 18th April with the support of MUN4skills, Hired Consult, International Institute For Human Development and Business Gate, the focus on this live workshop is about what is the concept behind of Model United Nations, History of the Model UN and how Model UN can help in your career?

Profile of Mr Langah:

Ambassador: Fawad Ali Langah has started his MUN legacy in 2009 April, since then dedicating my life to serve the MUN platform, and never looked back since. In 2012, he was the only Pakistani student who was selected by the United Nations to attend their 1st Annual Model United Nations workshop, held at the UN Headquarters in NYC. He also went on to be selected by GIMUN (Geneva International MUN Conference), held in Palace de Nations UN Geneva Headquarters in Switzerland, as a bloc Representative,
moreover, He did his Master‘s in International Relations from Middlesex University London, with specialized courses in Global diplomacy and Public Policy Economics from the renowned institutions; the University of London and the University of Oxford.

He is also a permanent member of the United Nations Association of Pakistan (UNAP) and recently awarded by United Ambassadors’ as an Exceptional Model United Nations Trainer across the globe. furthermore,
He has initiated an online platform through social sites, including a YouTube channel by the name of MUN4SKILLS, in which he actively shares his experiences, explains tactics and provides training regarding Model United Nations,

Furthermore, on Sept 21st 2019 He has been awarded the Sheikh Zayed Peace Award in 4th Sheikh Zayed Peace Conference as the only Pakistan who has honoured with this. He is also a Global Goodwill Ambassador from Pakistan and International Goodwill Ambassador and Adviser for the Youth Affairs at Federal Association For the Advancement of Visible Minorities (FAAVM) Canada. Today, He is a recognised trainer and Consultant for Model UN, also SDG activist/advocate.

ABOUT MUN4SKILLS:

This platform is being created to promote the Model United Nations and similar platforms. The basic idea for this initiative is to create a platform that will help and guide, the young generations, to understand and get skills which are generated by attending/participating in Model UN platforms around the globe, therefore an official channel has been created, in which plenty of videos was made regarding the aspects, tactics and moreover understanding the rules and procedures of Model United Nations, furthermore, this channel also give the coverage to different national and international Model UN platforms, to give an idea to the newcomers especially, that what actually happened and how you act in the conferences.
