SBI minimum balance charges

SBI, the country's largest bank, has reduced the penalties for not maintaining account balance by 75%. In such a situation, now any customer will not have to pay more than Rs 15 So far this amount was Rs. 50. Bank customers will get the benefit of reduced penalties from April 1.

According to the information given by SBI, the penalty charge has been reduced to all types of branch customers. This means that the customers of metro, urban and rural areas will get the benefit of this. The bank claims that this step will get 25 million subscribers directly from SBI.
 
In the metro and urban branches (Monthly average balance of Rs 3000) new penalty is existing penalty
Up to 50% when balance is reduced, Rs. 10 to Rs. 30
If the balance is less than 50% and 75% less then Rs. 12 Rs. 40
If the balance is less than 75%, then Rs. 15 Rs. 50
In semi-urban branch (monthly average balance of Rs 2000)
Up to 50% when balance is reduced, Rs 7.50 to Rs 20
If the balance is less than 50% and 75% less then 10 rupees 30
If the balance is less than 75%, then Rs. 12 Rs. 40
In Rural Branch (Monthly Average Balance 1000)
Up to 50% when the balance is low, 5 Rs. 20
If the balance is less than 50% and 75% less then Rs. 7.5 Rs. 30
If the balance is less than 50% and 75% less then 10 rupees 40
