数ヶ月前、私は『ゴジラ マイナス ワン』のトレーラーを、『シン・ゴジラ』の最初のトレーラーのスタイルで再編集しました。今、『ゴジラ -1.0』が公開され、より多くの映像が公開されたため、シン・ゴジラのトレーラーのより正確な再現を試みたくなりました。
興味深いことに、このプロジェクトはシン・ゴジラと『ゴジラ マイナス ワン』のマーケティングの違いをさらに浮き彫りにしました。両者は映画の異なる側面に焦点を当ててマーケティングを行いました。シン・ゴジラはムードを作り出すことに焦点を当て、一方で『ゴジラ マイナス ワン』は進行中の災害を描いています。マイナスワンのトレーラーはアクションと緊張に焦点を当てており、そのため一対一の描写を作成するのは難しいです。とはいえ、私はシン・ゴジラのトレーラーをショット・フォー・ショットでできるだけ再現するよう努め、必要な場所でアートの自由を取り入れました。
このビデオを作るのはとても楽しかったですし、今後も同様のものを制作することを期待しています。

A few months ago, I re-edited the trailer for Godzilla Minus One in the style of the first trailer for Shin Godzilla. Now that Godzilla -1.0 is out and there has been a lot more footage released for it, I wanted to take another shot at it to see if I could create a more accurate rendition of the Shin Godzilla trailer.
Interestingly, this project continued to highlight the difference in the marketing between Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Minus One because both chose to focus on different aspects of the film when marketing. Shin Godzilla was focused on creating a mood while Godzilla Minus One portrays a disaster in progress. The Minus One trailers are more focused on action and intensity making it difficult to create a one-to-one portrayal. Either way, I did the best I could to make a shot-for-shot remake of the Shin Godzilla trailer while only taking artistic liberties where I saw fit to help out when needed.
It was such a fun video to make and I hope to do more like it.
