FACTS - After the 2019 Netflix show "Sex Education," featuring Emma Mackey, there emerged a frequent confusion between the actress and Margot Robbie. Director Greta Gerwig hence intended to capitalize on this resemblance by including a doppelganger moment between the two Barbies in the movie. Nevertheless, this concept was abandoned later on when the actresses realized, while dressed as their respective Barbie dolls, that their resemblance wasn't as strong as initially thought.
