We open with a presentation on Women in Leadership, with a focus on Indigenous Women in Leadership and Reconciliation.
Selena Mills, Project Manager, Health Transformation and Communications Strategist @ The Centre for Wise Practices in Indigenous Health, Women’s College Hospital, joins us to share her experiences in and advocacy for Indigenous health and medical education. The aim is to showcase the achievement of successful women who can share their experiences, discuss unique challenges and opportunities faced in their field and empower the next generation of Leaders. Selena (Cree, French Canadian-Euro | She/Her) is a direct descendant of the Woodland Cree peoples of Lac Laronge, Treaty 6. A people and purpose driven interdisciplinary, she’s an auntie, sister, friend, wife, and community-centred mama-bear to two magnificent humans.
