Please help my friend Jacob, the sax player that usually plays in Printer's Ally, is in Vanderbilt on life support. He’s being treated for a rare autoimmune disease called Guillain-Barré that has attacked his nervous system. He’s fully paralyzed. He can’t speak or breathe or swallow. They are hoping for a full recovery but it will be several months. The last I heard is that Jake had some setbacks as he developed pneumonia. They had to move him to a trach ventilator. Jake is expected to stay on the ventilator for at least two more weeks. Please keep Jake in your thoughts.
