5 people are among the latest survivors of the Mai Mahiu flash floods that have so far claimed 48 lives, with scores others still missing.
A mother and her four children narrated the horror of surviving the raging waters, by clinging onto furniture after their house was submerged on Monday morning. This comes even as a multi agency team increases its search area to rescue more survivors and comb out bodies suspected to be buried beneath the rubbles.
