The governors who met on Sunday includeRiversgovernor, Nyesom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, SeyiMakinde of Oyo State, governor of Benue Samuel Ortom and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
The five governors had, a few days ago boycotted the inauguration of the campaign team of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja.
Governor Wike who is said to be the leader of the group, had called for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, for peace to reign in the party.
