Breaking your favorite ceramics is quite hurtful... I know how you feel.
While you throw the broken ceramics away, you can try Kintsugi that will not only revive your pottery, but create a piece which will be only one in the world.

What is Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is a centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and transforming it into a new work of art with urushi lacquer and gold, the traditional metal in Japan.

The name of the technique is derived from the words “Kin” (golden) and “tsugi” (joinery), which translate to mean “golden repair.”

Kintsugi became closely associated with ceramic vessels used for Japanese tea ceremony in 15th century.

As a philosophy, kintsugi is similar to the Japanese aesthetics of wabi-sabi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfect. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.

Kintsugi transforms the artifact into something new, making it more unique, exquisite, as part of the history of an object rather than something to disguise.
