दिल्ली: आज गांधी जयंती के अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी राजघाट पहुंचे, वहां उन्होंने महात्मा गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि दी. उनके अलावा उप राष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़, सोनिया गांधी समेत कई अन्य नेता भी पहुंचे.

कानपुर के साढ़ थाना क्षेत्र में श्रद्धालुओं से भरी ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली अनियंत्रित होकर तालाब में जा गिरी. इससे 27 लोगों की मौत हो गई है, जबकि 30 से अधिक लोग घायल हो गए.

इंडोनेशिया में एक फुटबॉल मैच के दौरान भड़की हिंसा में 127 लोगों की मौत हो गई है. फुटबॉल मैच के दौरान स्टेडियम में भड़की हिंसा में मौके पर ही 34 लोगों की मौत हो गई जबकि 93 लोगों ने उपचार के दौरान अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया. इंडोनेशिया पुलिस ने घटना की पुष्टि की है.
