What can gay male porn’s massive female audience tell us about gender relations and sexual expression? More than you might think. Drawing on a research study examining the motivations of women who prefer gay male pronography, Cunningham explains how gay male porn offers women a space free of gender anxiety, the barriers that straight pornography presents to female viewers, and how pornography can both reflect and produce how we sexually express ourselves.
