Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky invited India to join Ukraine's peace formula during his talks with PM Modi on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan. This was their first face-to-face meeting since Russia sent troops to Ukraine in February 2022. During their meeting, PM Modi told the Ukrainian President that he was keen to help and that for him the war was an issue of humanity and human values.
