How Epidemics Change History Conference Series: During three noonday talks on April 9, 16, and 23, 2020, nearly half of the The King’s College faculty explore ways in which epidemics shape societies, concentrate power in government, shatter assumptions about world order, and drive religious innovation. As we look back at the plagues of the past from the Black Death to modern pandemics, we hope to discover lessons that help to guide us through the COVID-19 crisis.
