Constantin Valdor, also known as "The Shield of the Emperor" and "The First of the Ten
Thousand," was the first Chief Custodian and Captain-General of the ancient Legio Custodes,
the Emperor of Mankind's elite bodyguard. The Legio Custodes was an unstoppable force under
Valdor's matchless leadership during the Wars of Unification to reunite Terra and the ensuing
Great Crusade to regain Humanity's lost colony worlds, and its warriors covered themselves in
