A Falcon 9 rocket will launch a SpaceX Dragon spaceship on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is scheduled for 4:55 p.m. EDT (2055 UTC). The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will return to land at Cape Canaveral about eight minutes after launch. This will be SpaceX's 30th space station cargo delivery mission for NASA.
It will also mark the first time a second-generation SpaceX Cargo Dragon has launched from pad 40.
