The DEA launched Operation Cash Out to crack down on fentanyl in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana.

The new initiative collaborates with the Internal Revenue Service to track down money made from drug trafficking.

The operation has already reached out to approximately 200 money service businesses, seeking cooperation in investigating cartel funds.
