Okay listen fellow #nursingstudents. If you are planning to take the ATI proctored medsurg exam then you definitely want to pay attention as i drop information on what to expect on this exam. The subject topics are as follow:
1) Know you electrolytes and lab values: i.e potassium, sodium, calcium and what disease process that would cause fluctuations in these values. 2) Always pick the least invasive course of action first 3) Choose the intervention that will prolong the patient's life and buy you more time. 4) Know cardiovascular system and procedures and what other organ systems that will be affected as it relates to cardiovascular diseases. 5) Know renal issues and what they affect and what are some causes such as pre-renal, renal and post renal causes.
