Sandalwood smuggler Veerappan's wife V Muthulakshmi has stated that his husband has portrayed in a wrong manner in the movie of
Ram Gopal Varma's Veerappan in Hindi as well as Villathi Villain Veerappan in Tamil.

Muthulakshmi in a pressmet states that 'during the pre-production of the movie she has narrated the true story of his husband Veerappan to the director Ram Gopal Varma at Mumbai. Even though he has made some scenes which are untrue and completely fake.
After that VijayKumar is making a novel on my husband Veerappan in the name of 'Last Encounter'. Vijay Kumar cannot make a true story on Veerappan, because he was not a part of any team during the encounter of my husband. So he has a prediction on how Veerappan
has died. That prediction is completely wrong.' says Muthulakshmi in the pressmeet.
