Taiwan Earthquake Live, Taiwan endured numerous earthquakes and aftershocks, with over 80 tremors occurring between April 22 and 23. The most powerful, measuring magnitude 6.3, caused shaking and structural damage in cities such as Taipei. Thankfully, there have been no reported casualties. Taiwan's vulnerability to earthquakes, stemming from its position on tectonic plates, has led to previous disasters, including a magnitude 7.2 quake on April 3, resulting in 14 fatalities.
