Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah confirmed that the explosion at Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe was a bomb blast. At least nine people were injured in the blast at the popular cafe in Bengaluru's Brookefield area.

The injured included three staff members and one customer. They suffered minor injuries and were out of danger, officials said.

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya said the owner of the cafe informed him that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer.
