The bulk of this show is devoted to the Lions Tour, starting by looking back on the last of the warm up matches against the Stormers, then running through recent Lions news before diving into our in depth preview of the first Test match of the series this Saturday.

Next, we wrap up the Summer Internationals with reviews of Wallabies/France, All Blacks/Fiji, Wales/Argentina and Samoa/Tonga. We also briefly look ahead to Tonga vs Cook Islands before pivoting to the Rugby Europe Championship where Portugal thumped Russia last weekend. We discuss that game and Russia's upcoming trip to Amsterdam to face the Netherlands.

We also look at the Rugby Africa Cup where the quarter finalists in next year's competition have been confirmed and the South American RWC Qualifiers where Uruguay squeaked past a very game Chile side. Los Teros face Brazil this weekend.

In club rugby, the MLR has it's final four as the Currie Cup continues. We also look ahead to the Olympics. Tokyo 2020 is underway and the Rugby 7's will be played next week. Finally, we wrap up the show with the Rugby News of the Week.
