The 94th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022. The ceremony was hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes. It was the first ceremony since the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011 to feature multiple hosts.

CODA won three awards at the ceremony, including Best Picture. Dune won a leading six awards, while The Eyes of Tammy Faye won two awards. The Power of the Dog, King Richard, West Side Story, Drive My Car, Encanto, Belfast, No Time to Die, Cruella, The Long Goodbye, The Queen of Basketball, Summer of Soul, and The Windshield Wiper won an award each.

During the awards show, controversy arose after actor Will Smith went onto the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock, who was presenting an award, after Rock made a joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
