"Shohorbondi" is the sophomore album of popular Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol. It was released in 2009 from Agniveena, sister concern of G-Series. Following the footsteps of the debut album "Droher Montre Bhalobasha", the band delivered yet another solid album, that was met with upmost praise and was quintessential in the development of the band's cult following. This time around, the focus was more on urban living with much better recording and more matured vocals and instrumentation. This gave the album more of a "concept album" feel. It was obvious that Meghdol was not bound by any genre, and they had succeeded in achieving a truly diverse sonic identity. Ujjal and Joy left the band, but Amzad joined as the new drummer. The album was also glorified with beautiful custom artwork in a unified theme reminiscent of the band members art background at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Charukola), University of Dhaka.
The lineup of "Shohorbondi" consisted of the following: Shoaib: Guitars, Keys & Back Voice Kibria: Bass Amzad: Drums Sumon: Vocals & Guitar Shibu: Vocals Sourov: Flute Guest Musicians who contributed: Saad Hussein: Grand Piano (Tracks: 4, 6, 10) Pervez: Backing Voice (Track: 10) Track List: 01.
