1-Point Perspective Exercise 03:09 2-Point Perspective Exercise 16:24 Form and Perspective are Art Fundamentals that are deeply connected, and they are essential to learn about when we're looking to improve our drawing skills. Lots of beginners skip over them, either because they're intimidating topics to learn about, or because they think these are only required for specific kinds of art, such as urban scenes. 👉 No matter what kind of artwork it is you like working on, from still life, to animal portraits, to nature scenes, to botanicals, your work will improve tremendously if you understand these topics and practice them more. Because form and perspective are present in everything. In this week's art video, I'm sharing how to draw rectangular prisms using 1 and 2-Point Perspectives. Through knowing how to draw simple 3D forms such as rectangular prisms/cubes, cylinders and spheres from different perspectives, you'll be setting yourself up for success to be able to draw anything. This is because anything you might want to draw can be distilled down to simple forms, altered forms, or combinations of simple forms.
