This talk talks about how the climate crisis demands how we rethink our obligations to the Earth, not only legally, but morally. This talk discusses this idea by outlining what the Anthropocene (the human-induced geological epoch we now find ourselves in) means for us going forward. This talk discusses how the new epoch demands a change in perspective of how we view ourselves, development, freedom and comfort and also provides a solution that would aid our in this time of uncertainty and change. Courtney is a thought leader pioneering a solution for the climate crisis specifically tailored to South Africa. Courtney has engaged in global issues at the United Nations in New York. She holds a bachelor of Social Sciences fom UCT and an LLB from UCT and is well on her way to a Masters Degree!
