Art education has been making Soonufat believe that it is the key to unlock the potential, understand the capacities and flexibility of emotions, perspectives, build confidence and learn to speak confidently. Through the journey working on art education, he realised that we need to rebuild art education to teach student art of being a human. Mr Soonufat A/L Supramaniam (more notoriously known by students as Sir Soon ?) is a teacher at SMK Lubok Buntar, Serdang, Kedah. He had conducted many amazing projects including the "Find Your Light" project whereby his students and him did 9 shows called Maya Musical for Georgetown Festival. Recently, he also organised "Singing to the Lions" theater whereby 5 schools worked together to create an anti-bullying show at Penang Pac.

He is the Teach for Malaysia 2015 fellow and owns Leadsire Academy, an innovative education centre working towards making learning fun and relevant again through innovative teaching practices that focus on mastery based learning.
