Even though the diagnosis of hypothyroidism can be very serious and come as a shock, we are here to share with you a very personal story that has turned from the initial tears of disappointment to laughter and ultimately a better quality of life (and if you check out the whole video or our Instagram - a lot of bloopers too haha). In this episode we are discussing the process of recognising symptoms, seeking medical advice and learning to live with treatment & medication for hypothyroidism and iron deficiency. Although our experience is still quite limited, we really wanted to use our platform to raise awareness for this illness as soon as possible in case it can help or give comfort to anyone listening. And as always: remember to check in with your doctor if you have health related concerns - we have absolutely no medical qualifications :)
