A Quiet Place 2 was supposed to open in theaters around the world next week.But on Thursday director John Krasinski alerted his fans on social media that the horror movie would be postponed due to the growing concerns of the spread of the coronavirus.There was no mention of when the film would be released.  His note that had white type over a black background said, 'To all our A Quiet Place fans, One of the things I'm most proud of is that people have said our movie is one you have to see all together. 'Well due to the ever-changing circumstances of what's going on in the world around us, now is clearly not the right time to do that.'As insanely excited as we are for all of you to see this movie... I'm gonna wait to release the film til we CAN all see it together! So here's to our group movie date! See yo soon!' He signed off JK. Paramount Pictures, the studio releasing the film, also shared a statement.'After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of ‘A Quiet Place Part II.'We believe in and support the theatrical experience, and we look forward to bringing this film to audiences this year once we have a better understanding of the impact of this pandemic on the global theatrical marketplace.'The film stars John's wife Emily Blunt, who was also in the original in 2018 that made over $340M.  'The Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they fight for survival in silence,' says the synopsis. 'Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.'Soon after, it was announced that F9 - another sequel for The Fast And The Furious - would be pushed to next year.According to The Hollywood Reporter, F9 starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez had been set to hit theaters around the globe in May. Now it will go out April 2, 2021 in the U.S.Other films that have been moved to a later date include the new James Bond movie with Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas, No Time To Die. The new date is November 25, 2020.
