Adrian Hale describes his journey of self-realization from his military service in Afghanistan to his studies back home in understanding the real battle is understanding our own perceptions.

Adrian Hale is a Rochester, NY native, who served five years active duty in the United States Marine Corps, and made two combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is currently a senior at Yale University studying political science. Upon graduation from Yale, Adrian wishes to return to Rochester and become a reform advocate who will advocate the betterment of the city.
