The tips that you'll need to grow a new Instagram account from 0 followers in 2022.

If you've been wondering how to grow a new Instagram account or themepage, then these steps will help you. These are 7 things that I do when I'm growing a new IG right now. Whether you're growing a themepage, meme page, or business account - these tips and hacks should help you to get followers.

I'm growing a new Insta acct. right now and I know it's hard. It takes time to grow on IG. The point of this video isn't to tell you it'll happen fast - instead, these are the real growth strategies that I use, and I know will work over time.

These are real strategies and steps that I take.

Here are the 7 tips:

1. Immerse yourself in your page's niche. Use the explore page and your feed to see only the content that's relevant to you. You can do this by engaging with specific content and avoiding others. You can also click the not interested button on content that's not what you're looking for. Use Instagram's algorithm to see more content that's relevant to your page. This will help you come up with content ideas and understand new updates and trends more quickly.

2. Quality followers are more important than your number of followers. Instagram followers aren't easy to get in 2022, so it's easy to focus on your follower count. But the thing is - having highly targeted followers will help you more in the future. You'll have higher engagement, and a higher engagement rate. This will help you in Instagram's algorithm. Your content will go further on the explore page and reels page. You'll also avoid more ghost followers this way. Ghost followers will stop your growth on IG and lead to reach drops. Focus on getting higher quality followers, not just more followers while you grow.

3. The Follow for Follow method will help you to get faster growth on IG. Don't use a follow for follow app or service. Do this growth hack manually. Follow a maximum of 25 people every hour and a half, and a max of 150 per day. This will help to make sure that you don't get action blocked or shadowbanned. And yes, follow for follow still works in 2022.

4. Instagram reels and Instagram Carousels will get you the most growth. *usually* Focus on these two content types, as they usually get the most reach. Oftentimes, they get more engagement too, which will help the algorithm to notice you. Focus on building a solid content strategy and delivering value to your audience. Funny content almost always gets more engagement by the way.

5. Figure out your page's value proposition. Your Instagram account has to be unique in some way if you want to grow quickly, and especially have long term growth. You'll get more followers if your page doesn't feel like anything people have seen before. Standing out is an important part of branding yourself and your page.

6. Make sure you optimize your IG for follower conversions. A Call to Action is extremely important. You want to tell people to follow you. This will help you to get way more followers in the long run. Also, having a clean profile picture and bio are important.

7. Hashtags will help you grow on Instagram. This one seems obvious, but I see a lot of people that don't use hashtags anymore. Hashtags still work in 2022. It's less than before, but they still work. Use hashtags to get that little bit of extra reach, and maybe some extra followers.
