Spartan Buck’s story continues, Master Chief’s story continues, and some other special secret former series villain has a great character arc, too! You can understand the state of the galaxy in Halo Infinite! I read 29 Halo books and you can too!
There may be 30, but you don’t need to start at #1 (although it is good). The later Halo novels serve as great introductions to the novels as well.
