A 6.4-magnitude earthquake originating from Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region caused tremors in Delhi-NCR and northern India at 2:50 pm IST. The epicenter, 241 km north-northeast of Kabul, triggered panic in the affected areas, though no immediate damage or casualties were reported. Afghanistan experienced two quakes of magnitude 6 and above since October. Simultaneously, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit parts of Pakistan, originating in the Hindu Kush region at a depth of 213 km, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
