Domino toppling at Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) is a crowd favorite event. For its sixth straight year, the Domino Toppling Extravaganza returned to BMAC on Monday, March 4, 2013.

Veteran domino toppler Shane O'Brien (age 16), accompanied by Chris Wright (age 15), Nathan Heck (age 12), set up a staggering 27,134 dominoes in the museum's Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Gallery. After 48 hours of domino preparation, BMAC opened their doors to the public and welcomed nearly 150 visitors to witness the toppling spectacle.

In keeping with tradition, spectators guessed at the total number of dominoes. The closest guess (27,000 dominoes) got the honor of starting the chain reaction.
