The 2021 population of Bristol is 465,900 people. This makes Bristol one of the largest cities in the UK.

Chocolate bar was invented here, in Bristol back in 1847.

In 1847, a man named Joseph Fry and his son took cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and sugar and pressed it into a bar shape, the very first edible solid chocolate bar.

💎 Over 500 years ago in 1497, John Cabot - originally Giovanni Caboto, yes it always has to be Italians involved when it comes to discoverin or creating new cool things.

Caboto finally arrived, but on the cost of Newfoundland instead, and therefore was the original discoverer of America! - not Christopher Columbus, as most people are let to believe -

💎 In Bristol you can find Cabot Tower

The tower was constructed in memory of John Cabot, 400 years after he set sail in the Matthew from Bristol to discover North America.
The foundation stone was laid on June 24 in 1897 and the tower was complete in July 1898.

💎 It was also the guy Richard Amerike or Ameryck who was the Bristol businessman who sponsored Giovanni’s voyage to North America.

💎 One of the oldest butchers in Bristol is still on the market! Thank to fantastic reputation in the local community.

💎 Also Bristol has been named as one of the best places to live in the Sunday Times. The biggest city in South West of England was ranked the second, only beaten by a town of Wiltshire.
