Fergie has opened up about her heartbreaking split from Josh Duhamel while talking to Wendy Williams… and it got emotional.

The 42-year-old admitted she wanted to stay married forever, and the split wasn’t her plan.

Fergie got teary-eyed during the interview and she talked about how they were together for 5 years before he popped the question. She added that she loved Josh, he’s the father of her child, and they forever have that project together and they’re doing the best they can.

During the interview Fergie confirmed that they split back in February… even though they waited until September to break the news.

Viewers are now speculating that it was Josh’s idea to split up based on her comments, but a concrete reason for the breakup has yet to be determined.
