It was recently announced that Samuthirakani and Sasikumar would be teaming up for the sequel of the 2009 super hit film, Naadodigal. Now, we have been informed that Anjali and Athulya Ravi would be playing the female leads in this venture.

Behindwoods got in touch with Athulya, who confirmed that the news is true. "Yes, Anjali and I are playing the female leads in the film. We will start to shoot for the film from March end. It will not be a continuation to the first part, and it will be a fresh story altogether. However, the base theme and flavour of the film will be the same, like Naadodigal".

Also starring, Bharani, Vijay Vasanth, Namo Narayanan, in important roles, Naadodigal 2 has music by Justin Prabhakaran and cinematography by N.K.Ekhambaram.
