So if you follow my instagram (@the.fitarist) You'll see i posted my top 5 yngwie riffs, in preparation for those I had to brush up on my Yngwie impression. I went back and watched his instructional video and instantly had flashbacks to the frustration I had with it when I first watched it 15 years ago! I had no idea how to use any of the ideas in a way that would make me sound like him or, more importantly, how to be creative with them.

So i thought why not chuck on the camera and teach alongside the video, talking about some of the ways I began to implement the things I Stole from Yngwies playing.

I'm not an Yngwie Expert, but hopefully this helps some of you who want to dip their toes in the neoclassical water.
