"Mera Dil Badal De" is a popular naat recited by the late Pakistani singer and songwriter, Junaid Jamshed. He was a well-known musician who later in his life became an Islamic preacher. He passed away in a tragic plane crash in 2016.

Change my heart, O God, change my heart
Those who have a heart of a poor man
Those pearls of gratitude that come to my lips
I have been asleep for a long time, from the flowing river of the world

Fill my lap with countless sins
When I stop, I pay a little attention
Every time I look towards the saint
I look towards your door, asking for something, asking for something

This naat is a beautiful and heartfelt expression of repentance and a plea for forgiveness from God. It reminds us that we are all sinners and in need of God's mercy and guidance to change our hearts and lead us on the path of righteousness.
