Response Minister Chris Hipkins will provide an update on the Covid outbreak from 1pm.

On Tuesday, there were 34 deaths of people with Covid-19 announced, over the past 10 days - bringing the total to 303.

There were 17,148 new community cases of Covid-19 and 842 people with the virus in hospital, 26 of those in ICU
