Why did Kendrick Lamar take an unexpected hiatus from 2017-2022? Instead of capitalizing off the INSANE success of DAMN, he chose to steer away from the new found fame and publicity, leaving fans constantly curious why he choose to distance himself from the spotlight. In today's video, I go through all of the events that lead Kendrick Lamar to become the "anti-social extrovert" as we know him today, and you'll see that his sudden hiatus, was not very sudden at all. From the loss of his close friend Chad Keaton, to realizing his words aren't even powerful enough to reach the closest people too him.
