Mere Paas Tum Ho (Urdu: میرے پاس تم ہو‎) (English: I Have You) is a 2019 Pakistani romantic-drama television series, produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib under their production banner Six Sigma Plus. It is directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. It features Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan in lead roles. The serial aired on ARY Digital on August 17, 2019. Mere Paas Tum Ho has the 2nd highest ever first and highest ever third episode ratings. The 1st and 3rd Episode had 10.9 and 15.5 TRP's.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Danish (Humayun Saeed) is a simple man with high moral values works as a government officer and earns Rs 48,000 monthly. His whole world revolves around his wife Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) and son Roomi he immensely loves them. Even though he doesn’t earn much, but he tries to give them all the happiness in the world. Mehwish on the other hand, keeps coming up with wishes that she knows her husband will go to any extent to fulfill to make her happy. She has a bad influence on her friend Anoushey (Mehr Bano) who keeps reminding her how much she is missing on life just because Danish doesn’t earn millions. Even though Mehwish is an ideal wife who supports her husband and takes care of their son with full responsibility but she was also shown to be manipulating Danish emotionally so he could find other ways to earn money. Mehwish saws a Necklace at a mall and demands it from Danish. Eager to please the love of her life, Danish decides to take the shortcut and use his position as a government officer to earn some extra cash via corruption. He’s afraid at first but seeing how his boss gets away quite easily regardless of attempting million rupees corruption, Danish is now determined to give his family all the luxuries that they wish for. He gets a right start at this wrong path and finally buys the much-hyped necklace for Mehwish. However, when he reaches home he finds out Mehwish and Rumi have gone out for shopping with another materialistic lady of this story Anoushey. Where Mehwish is mature and understands the financial situation her husband, she is also under continuous peer pressure whenever she is with Anoushey. And since haste makes waste, she causes a disaster after lending money from Anoushey to buy the same necklace that Danish has bought for her. After buying the necklace anoushey and mehwish go to hotel for lunch their anoushey introduces Mehwish to Shehwar Ahmad (Adnan Siddiqui) Shehwar Ahmed is a successful businessman and Anoushey’s family friend. However, his marriage life is not as successful. His wife lives in the US due to some issues between them and here Shehwar has all the freedom to flirt and roam around with girls. Shehwar and Mehwish meet for the first time after Anoushey spots him at the restaurant. Shehwar couldn’t help but praise Mehwish’s beauty and she doesn’t stop him. She goes home and tells Danish about the necklace Danish is disheartened to know about two necklaces, he keeps his feelings contained and doesn’t tell Mehwish about the necklace he bought. Instead, he gives her cash to give it back to her friend, so she doesn’t have to feel burdened around her anymore. Than they go to the Mehndi Function of anoushey's brother there Danish meets Shehwar for the first time Danish instantly senses the lust in Shehwar’s eyes for Mehwish. Shehwar asks Mehwish to dance with her and even though she looks flattered, but she refuses. Seeing the two talking, Danish feels heartbroken he asks Mehwish to dance at first she refuses but than agrees The situation gets worse between the two after Shehwar finds Mehwish alone and manipulates her into dancing with him. He also tries to corrupt her mind by saying things like she deserves someone better than Danish. At first, Mehwish is hesitant but seeing Danish dancing with Anoushey, she just cannot bring her to refuse. Seeing Shehwar holding his wife makes Danish really furious.
